At St Mary's Catholic Primary School we recognise our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils. We are alert to the signs of abuse and neglect and follow our procedures to ensure that children receive effective support, protection and justice. The procedures contained in this policy apply to all staff, volunteers and governors and are consistent with those of Sefton Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB).

Fridays – 9am to 5pm

Parents Against Child Sexual Exploitation (Pace) and the Virtual College have teamed up to provide a short, free online course entitled ‘Keep Them Safe: Protecting Children from CSE’ designed to equip parents and carers with the knowledge to protect children against sexual exploitation.

• NSPCC - Child abuse
