Religious Education

As a Catholic school, our fundamental aim is to share the Good News about Jesus, Saviour of the World.

Our school has close links with the parish of St. Mary’s Little Crosby and the children are invited to take part in several beautiful traditional events, including the colourful and impressive Harvest Festival.

We use various resources and follow the recommended archdiocesan scheme, ‘Come and See’.

Collective worship takes place daily, either in assembly or in the classroom. It may take a range of forms including traditional prayers such as the Rosary, hymns, use of suitable music and the children’s own prayers. Children are given opportunities to organise collective worship.

(Parents have the right to withdraw their child from R.E. and collective worship).
