Safeguarding / Child Protection

Parents should be aware that the school will take any reasonable action to ensure the safety of its pupils/students. In cases where the school has reason to be concerned that a child may be subject to ill-treatment, neglect or other forms of abuse, members of staff have no alternative but to follow borough Safeguarding Child Protection Procedures and inform Social Care of their concern. Our school policy is available on request.

Parents will not always be fully informed of concerns unless staff are certain that the safety of the child will not be prejudiced by their doing so.
